Furniture that Makes a Statement !!!

Talk about turning an old tired piece of furniture into a piece of furniture that makes a statment??

..this started out as all my pieces do... dark brown and boring...

... this is now my "favorite" transformation !!

Mosaic Class

We have been having a great time in mosaic class... we meet once a week for a couple of hours.... drink wine, relax, get lost in our thoughts..... and create.....

This is my latest..... I found this great table base that needed a top.... a ceramic rose decorates the bottom of the table...

green and yellow dishes and yellow glass beads complete the top..... I can't think of anything I would rather do with mismatched dishes ... !!!

Helping a China Cabinet

This was fun.. it is amazing what paint and lace can do to a piece of furniture !!!

This chair was so "different" that I just couldn't pass it by..... after peeling off 4 layers of fabric... all of which were MUCH nicer than this one.... I re-upholstered in hot pink suede... and trimmed it with a really fun multi color

Hand Made Lamps

These two magnificent lamps are hand made with vintage lace and doilies.... they were custom ordered for a customer who just finished and addition on her home.... her "office" is white with a touch of aqua.... how amazing will these look ??

I LOVE BLUE !!!!

I have been such a pink and green person... but I think I'm converting....

I just finished this dresser and bench... ( that was made from a really old bed ) in the palest shade of blue...

and I love it !!!
